The Techno Global Hospital Barrackpore, has been one of the fastest-growing multi-specialty hospitals in the state, which is not only dedicated to providing top-class and affordable healthcare across West Bengal, but also is determined to redefine healthcare in our state.
This is our core vision and objective.
Not only our Hospital has state-of-the-art gadgets and equipment needed for diagnosing and treating patients with supreme efficiency and compassion but also boasts a rich pool of medics, efficient nurses and support staff – all working under the supervision of the Administrative Team.
We are all united in our resolve to serve the patients round the clock.
Techno Global Hospital’s pronounced policy is to make every patient feel at home and make sure he/she doesn’t feel isolated from his near and dear ones. We also work sincerely towards giving the families of our patients a profound sense of confidence.
It was back in January this year that the first report of the Corona patient surfaced, and virtually in no time, the number increased exponentially. This forced the Government of India to impose a nationwide lockdown on 25 March, 2020 – a measure aimed at stopping / slowing down the spread of the virus.
The countrywide lockdown meant that people’s movement was severely restricted, transport services came to a standstill, schools and colleges and offices were forced to switch to online mode. One of the very few exceptions is the healthcare sector – a sector which has been shouldering huge responsibilities in extreme pressure and adversity. We all know why and how.
Since, the number of Covid positive patients kept rising steadily in our state, Mr Satyam Roychowdhury, the Hon’ble Managing Director of our Group, made an offer to the West Bengal Government.
The offer, which was spontaneous, came straight from his heart.
He told the Hon’ble Chief Minister that Techno Global Hospital can be converted into a Covid hospital in this unprecedented crisis.
The gesture encapsulates our MD’s basic values and core vision – which always puts service to mankind above everything else.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee happily accepted our MD’s offer. In no time, Techno Global Hospital turned into a temporary Covid 19 healthcare facility.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister got so moved by our MD’s offer that she made repeated mentions of it in several media interviews.
She said such a gesture is not only a glorious demonstration of empathy and social responsibility, it is worth emulating for all.
Our MD asked the top management of Techno Global Hospital to extend fullest support to the Government and accordingly we swung into action and quickly created Covid-specific infrastructure and special set-up.
The hospital management conducted special training sessions for doctors, nurses and support staff, and also made available adequate PPE kits, hand sanitizers, hand wash and other equipment. This apart, the hospital compound is being sanitized twice a day.
The Hospital Management also wishes to join the Government of West Bengal in extending heartfelt thanks to all those who worked round the clock to ensure that services were not affected. No word of appreciation is enough.
The overall crisis, which is yet to blow away, has on many occasions seen sudden spikes in the number of Covid cases and with that a sudden surge of demands for admission to our hospital was prominent. We have handled such situations with a degree of efficiency and composure.
Our hospital has won enormous confidence of all our stakeholders, especially of the patients, their families and the Government. This is something we must savour and celebrate.
It is also a matter of pride for us that most of the patients admitted to our hospital with Corona Virus have recovered. This has been made possible by an extraordinary teamwork by us all – particularly doctors, nurses and the support staff. I thank each of them for their dedication and sincerity.
The nation has entered the phase of Unlock but the hospital is taking utmost precautions, as recommended by the World Health Organization and the Department of Family Welfare, Government of India and the Government of West Bengal.
One of the positive upshots of the Pandemic is that it has made us pause, think, rethink, construct and deconstruct. It has made us nimble and hardworking, and also a lot more hard-working. In these hours of crisis, we learnt many things – which will help us attain greater heights and achieve bigger goals.
The biggest positive of the pandemic is that we have rediscovered our fighting spirit and a positive mind-set – a mind-set which help us remain unflustered and composed in extreme crisis.
We look forward to serving people with a lot more dedication and a greater degree of efficiency.
I congratulate each and every team member of our hospital on their sincere efforts to the goodwill and reputation of the Hospital. Finally, I would like to share two more positive achievements during these trying times.
First, we have grown into a 200-bed hospital from 134 beds;
and second, the first phase of the Blood Bank being set up in our hospital, is complete.
These two developments are pointers to the high growth trajectory that we have entered.
To sum up, Techno Global Hospital has not only fulfilled its primary objective of serving people with passion, empathy, sincerity and efficiency, it has also grown in stature and volume and won people’s trust. We will keep doing the same in the days to come. That’s our pledge and resolution!!!

While it is a matter of pain that we have lost many of our fellow citizens this year, there is a silver lining. By a rough estimate over 95% Covid patients admitted to our hospital have recovered.

BREAK FROM MONOTONY
We encouraged our hard-working care-givers to have some well-deserved food-and-fun moments as a celebration on Nursing Day.
ALWAYS FOR THE SOCIETY
Patients requiring non-critical assistance at hospital are being treated here.
Our Hospital receives acknowledgement for our service to mankind during the pandemic that we are facing. Mr. Tamal Chatterjee had been present to receive the award on behalf of team Nehru Memorial Techno Global Hospital. We need to keep up the good work and bag such prestigious awards even more!
